Author Guidelines

All manuscripts submitted to TRJG journals must comply with these guidelines. Non-compliant submissions may be returned without peer review.

1. General Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to any TRJG journal must be: (a) original and not published elsewhere; (b) not under simultaneous consideration at another journal; (c) written in clear academic English; and (d) prepared in accordance with these guidelines and the specific aims and scope of the target journal.
By submitting, authors confirm that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript, consent to publication, and that the research was conducted ethically in accordance with relevant institutional and national guidelines.

2. Manuscript Types & Word Limits

3. Manuscript Structure

Original research articles must include the following sections in this order:
  • Title Page — Full title, all authors' names, affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID iDs (where available)
  • Abstract — Structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) or unstructured, as appropriate to the manuscript type
  • Keywords — 5–8 relevant terms from standard indexing vocabularies
  • Introduction — Contextualises the research problem and states objectives clearly
  • Literature Review / Theoretical Framework
  • Methodology / Methods — Sufficient detail to permit replication
  • Results — Present findings objectively
  • Discussion — Interpret findings in light of existing literature
  • Conclusion — Summary, limitations, and future research directions
  • References — APA 7th edition format

5. References: APA 7th Edition

All TRJG journals use APA 7th edition. Ensure all in-text citations have corresponding reference list entries and vice versa. DOIs must be included for all journal articles where available.

6. Figures, Tables & Data

All figures and tables must be numbered consecutively (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.) and referenced in the text before they appear. Each figure and table must include a descriptive title and, where applicable, a source note.
Figures should be submitted in high resolution (minimum 300 DPI) as separate files in TIFF, PNG, or EPS format. Tables must be created in Word format, not as images. Authors must ensure they hold the rights to reproduce any third-party figures or tables.
Where data sets underpin the findings of a submitted article, authors are encouraged to deposit them in an appropriate public repository and include the data availability statement in the manuscript.

7. Submission Checklist

Confirm compliance with each item before submitting:

Manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere

All author names and affiliations removed from manuscript body (anonymised for double-blind review)

Abstract does not exceed the word limit for the manuscript type

5–8 keywords provided from standard indexing vocabulary

All citations formatted in APA 7th edition; DOIs included where available

Figures and tables are numbered, titled, and referenced in the text

Ethics approval statement included (for studies involving human participants or animals)

All co-authors have read and approved the final manuscript version
